Would have preferred a bit more digging for comparative sounds rather than just playing all the bangers from their shows of the last two years.
Parodius was such an ace game.

Yeah, why is it particularly worth for us to re-listen these tunes? By the half of 2013 we almost know them by heart, I could listen to this mix without pressing play

thanks guys.
it wasn't about playing particulary knowledgeable tunes or the latest possible stuff. i just picked the highest possible quality, and then tried to come up with transitions that make them interesting despite their being played out so much. so, to answer your question, i think there are some transitions worth listening to, even if we all know most of the tunes by heart.
and no, no cocaine powder.

You live in Berlin, why make Swemp tributes when you could go to Hardwax every week or so and play white labels to die for

swamp was more or less my entrance to this kind of music, and i still value their tunes highly. I'm not at the point yet of being able to overlook electronic music to the extent that i can fully appreciate hardwax. even though i am beginning to, only now.
anyway, does musical quality correlate with rarity for you?

Nah, quality over rarity any day and I would dance my tits off if I'd have a chance to hear this set at a party

because these tunes always work with the crowd and people like to hear the tunes they know. It's only when it's online and tracklisted when I run my filter trying to calculate if the mix I'm going to hear will be worth listening to or not. I know that because of it I don't do enough justice to the recording and also the work you put into it though

. I think I'll appreciate the mix much more after 10-15 years when there'll be UK bass revival going on lol
