That is my most anticipated film this year...I'm not even lying.

The 'DJ' she gets lessons off appears to be the most insufferable tnuc in history in less than 3 seconds of screentime.

i bet 3/4 of the way through the movie she trainwrecks and gets flustered and walks off stage
then she gives up the life
but the main guys dick convinces her to come back
and the movie ends with her smashing some huge party

sort of on topic. I hate that female djs are 'female djs', it's so retarded. Like they have to push that as some kind of gimmick, or get coined as it w/e. Also applies to female gamers.

Apparently she's a classically trained pianist who ditches it all to press the sync button on julio bashmore tunes.

yeh, that's my opinion on female djs. i dont give a fuck so long as you can mix, why the need to hype the fact you dont have a penis

And for some reason, where I live the term "Beat" when refered to a girl usually means ugly as fuck. (Stupid expression but you can imagine how stupid the movie title looked to me...)

lol, I too thought the film was going to be about an ugly girl. I'm disappointed its not.

Ughh that was actually difficult to watch and it was just a fucking trailer

i like the song at the end, its really inspiring

i think this film reflects the strife of an entire generation
