It sounds like you bought a generic sample pack targeted at brostep producers and jammed all the sounds together. Actually is it one of those Famous Audio packs? The vocal bass bits sound like one of theirs I saw on Loopmasters a while ago.
Samples are okay, but don't make your whole song out of dry samples lifted straight from a single dubstep pack - it sounds bad.

This. Personally apart from single drum hits, i only tend to use use uplifters/downlifters sample wise, and the odd effect/vocal sample every now and again. Did you do the drums yourself or did you use pre-made loops?

Only for drums and and FX.
But I usually layer up the drums, and mess around and layer the samples I use for Fx.

i tend to rip single shots from loops, if i hear a really nice hat in a loop i just cut it and use it

As said, just taking pre-made wobbles etc isnt great.
However, if you're just starting out then I don't see why you shouldnt do that, will help your arrangement skills no end.
But if you're fairly experienced, then take those pre-made wobs etc, throw some effects on them, chop them up, resample them and so on, make them your own. F-all wrong with that either.
