Trying to make this iconic sound. The first sound of the drop at 00:54. Love this one because it sounds soo organic and innovative.

The sound seems like its made up of either two different FM8 patches or one really detailed FM8 patch.

Either way theres like 2 main parts to it: The down pitch kinda lazer tear sound, and then the typical FM8 monster PBing down.

Anyone ever stumbled across something similar to the first part of the sound? I think ive made it before on accident in FM8. I've been trying recipies that include a high pitch modulator moding a modulator that mods a carrier at various low depths, and then maybe pitchbend and a BP with resonance.

"thanks bruh.. i spent quite a bit of time on the sound design of the basses to be honest. its a combo of VIRUS TI patches that i have made & massive for the most part... really took a while to get it to sound like that tho... tons of layering and eq, and tweaking."
