With the exception of Maschine, this sums up NI's releases over the last few years IMO
Just checked the videos, not a particularly inspiring set of sounds and it's a Reaktor plug...so pass for me.

Its cool, but really takes some work to get some good sounds out of it. Unless you want some crazy pads, which it is great at. Its defiantly one of those things where you have to really enjoy trying different things in order to get the most out of it.
http://www.bluewatervst.com/ (no affiliation) did a really nice and free video course on skanner.
Its a neat synth for sure, but the only reason i use it is because i got it for free a couple years back. Even then, i still havent managed to work it into a finished track.

its hard to use but iv managed to make decent basses etc since iv used it a lot, its definitely one of my favourite synths since its unique and sounds good. the feedback knob gives a very nice distortion if used right, again its difficult to tweak the sound to how you want since it usually gives quite random results.

It's free anyway isn't it? I got it free a year or 2 ago. It's lacking a couple of things and just uses the free Reaktor Player. Never installed it tbh.

It was there Xmas gift 2 years ago. They've done a couple mods to it since then and relabeled it with "xt".

It's really neat for ambiance and effects, never used it for basses though. Got it free though, wouldn't have paid for it otherwise.
