This isn't actually dubstep, but I still am having a problem with Ableton Live. Here is the track:

If you notice...in the intro there is a space. I had uploaded before and these spaces had been all throughout it...specifically where clips met. I went into Ableton and found 2 spots near the beginning that for some reason have HUGE lag spikes where clips meet. So, I moved it over...unfortunately the intro hit one spot

Anyways, When I am producing House music this NEVER happens, but whenever I do hiphop this starts happening a lot. My house stuff is all original...so I am guessing it has something to do with Samples(since for my hiphop tracks I do a lot of sampling). Can anyone help me out?

Hmmm. That is really weird. First of all, which version of Live are you using?

Can you clarify what you meant by "So, I moved it over...unfortunately the intro hit one spot " You moved it over, and it's still sounding like there's a gap? Are you sure they are right next to each other? Did you zoom in all the way? I don't see how a difference in genre or in audio vs MIDI clips would make any difference here. I think the problem might have more to do with a setting like snap to grid or something like that. Probably not snap to grid specifically but something in that area.

What I meant was it it was in a certain spot, and I moved the ENTIRE track down a bit, and there was only ONE space.

I talked to a friend, and he said it is probably related to warping. Which would make sense...since I do a LOT of warping when I work on hiphop.

Is it only on samples you use? You may have the warp function enabled which can mess things up if are using a different tempo to the sample?

Different tempo to the sample...so I have to warp.
