Free drum kits with more than 3 toms?

Can anyone suggest any free drum kits or even synths that have a fairly large number of toms? The kits I have only have 3 toms each, and sometimes 3 isn't enough.

Repitch the three you have, or you know use more than one kit? :o

Since I never know where I can learn something useful I ask around. Sorry if it's somehow hard on you personally, or anyone else. From my pov it doesn't seem like it should hurt anyone at all.

Definitely re-pitch and process samples you already have.
I just take any of the 40 tom samples I have and take it from there.

Look at a basic drum kit and count the toms. 3 is more than enough, just process them differently to make them sound like they are being hit differently

That's how I found what I've already got. Maybe no one here knows of anything better, but I was hoping that some people did AND that they would say where to get it. Maybe some people do know :a: but want to keep it to themselves?

I want to have several toms, not just 3. Really I'd like to find toms that are tuned so you can make a melody with them. I haven't been able to find any yet though. Maybe there aren't any. I'd also like to find some tuned bass drums and quints like are used in drum corps and marching bands, but haven't found any of them yet either. It seems they MUST exist though...surely marching arrangers are using this sort of thing to hear what things will sound like before a bunch of drummers (and horn players) have to learn how to play it.

Load a tuned tom into a sampler and have every tome at every note?

Syntehsize a tom for every note, load that into a sampler?

You can't be searching that hard. Take any one of these thousands of toms and pitch them to whatever note you need.

This is the most important response (Although others before were verging on it).

You made this post about toms because you felt lost, but the answer you really needed was to get creative.

Find one sample that you really enjoy and reprocess it until its perfect and has "your sound" make a few copies and get crazy, this is what music is all about!

Free download, includes like 6 (maybe 9?) great-sounding toms, along with a lot of other realistic percussion that is actually perfect for EDM. I use this pack in every one of my tracks...

I usually only use 1 or 2 of the toms at a time, though. it's all about re-pitching and changing the lengths of the tails, equalizing, etc. Try making some tom rolls in a blank track and saving them into a sample folder to use later.
