2 Native Instruments problems

Concerning Kontakt and FM8.
With Kontakt I can't seem to automate any other knobs in ableton.
And with FM8 the arpeggiator seems to be fairly gitchy.
Anyone have any experience like this?

SWIM's FM8 seems all around buggy. He has trouble saving presets; when he tries to save presets, open presets, or just load the init preset,(?) the program toggles between the different panels really quickly. This gets extremely annoying, as he never knows if a preset was actually saved, not to even mention the fact that the toggling doesn't stop until he opens the "open preset" window.
It's bloody annoying, I tell you.
What do you mean by, "the arpeggiator seems to be fairly glitchy?" Never used it before, but I'd like to know...

I use FL Studio and had trouble automating knobs in Kontakt as well, hopefully this helps. In the upper left section there are tabs...
[Files,Libraries,Database,Monitor,Modules,Auto]
Select Auto, scroll down to a host parameter # that is "unassigned" and drag it onto whatever knob you want to automate in Kontakt. That parameter is now assigned to that knob, you just have to find where the parameter is. For Fl studio, you would then "browse parameters" and move the desired knob to locate the parameter in the browser. Not sure how this works in Ableton.
