Hey people, i am getting into logic at the moment and have a question about key commands. Is it possible to make a new audio track via shortcut? And midi tracks? In ableton it used to be cmd+T for audio and alt+cmd+T for midi. I searched in the keycommand customasation window already but found nothing. Anybody?
Logic seems to be a pretty bawz program. I have used ableton for a year or so now, but how deep logic can go is just amazing

Option ("alt")+Cmd+N creates a new track.

Logic is awesome, yeah.

thank you man! , but isnt there any option for quickly making audio tracks? I mean you can customize like every little bit in it but no keycommand for audiotracks?

If you want really fast, just double click any blank space below some already created tracks on the arrange page

yeah i already noticed that! i love how you can set up an command-click for example for cutting stuff! so much better than in ableton.
now i just need to find something simpler-esque (esx24?) and something to make drums quickly (i am used to ableton drum racks..)

Use the exs24, it rocks. Also, if you have samples on your computer, you can just drag them into the arrangement window and right click and press 'open as a sampler instrument'.

ok thanks! I'm still planning to rewire ableton into logic, that would be pretty dope, but it seems that you just can bounce the audio out of ableton in a folder.. bit clunky :S
