Is this Possible?

I was wondering if you can create a PRO sounding growl bass on a different synth other than massive or FM8, like make one on synleth1. I have never seen anyone attempt to make GB on a different synth, I tried to make one, but making vowel bass in harmor is HARD, and I really want pro sounding growl basses like KTN or Captain Skrillex, not a vowel bass with squelchiness. I also wonder if you can achieve one by layering different synths.

I've never tried but Sylenth is my go to synth and from experience I know you can get some pretty crazy and dark sounds out of it despite it being known for clean trance-y leads and pads. I think most of the growl sounds start as basic waveforms with most of the movement and bite coming from processing out of the synth so I'd definitely say it's possible.

Use Sytrus, or other fm synths.

^Example, you can get cooler stuff than that.

This.
How 'pro' your basses is sound is determined by how many hours you are willing to dedicate to getting to know a particular synth.
