E3 summary ahead of time, loads of marketing, CGI trailers with little to no gameplay, some more Nintendo first party titles to hopefully save the current flop that is the Wii U, more TV TV SPORTS COD DOGS KINECT for the new Xbox, and hopefully some cool announcements on the Sony front from From Software. All the cool stuff is unfortunately never covered in the major 3 and televised stuff.
There's been some rumors that From Software might be working on a sequel to Demon's Soul concurrently with the Dark Souls 2 development exclusively for Sony since they own the rights to the IP which would be really cool.
A CGI heavy trailer for Watchdogs got leaked already which I think was one of the more promising titles from last year http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/06/10/watch ... acked-off/
EA is likely going to have something about the new Dragon Age game, but after how shitty 2 was and how much they seem to be rushing this to compete with The Witcher 3 along with the track record with their latest releases it's likely going to be shit.
Anything you guys are looking forward to?
Personally hoping for some new info on Cyberpunk and The Witcher 3 from CD Projekt Red, some more footage of Arma 3 even though it's hitting beta this month and they did some streams on twitch already, and some more info on DayZ standalone.
Other than that hoping for some new interesting IPs and not a repeat of last years.
hahahahahahahaha xbone omg thats such a funny play on words

saw the leaked alpha pics for bf4 so not particularly interested in what they have to offer.
the whole wii u thing should be interesting, at this rate its really turning into a gamecube 2. i think even if they came out with a new smash bro's it wouldnt save it from turning to ash.
squinix is the one to watch for me though. next gen console ff.

Not really sure what to expect. Everyone keeps talking about hoping to see a new Mirror's Edge but I was never that into the first one, tbh.
I'm hoping to get a bit more knowledge about the differences between PS4 and Xbone so I can actually start to make a decision as to which one to get - if any. Sony has been dodging questions about used games etc - the stuff that Microsoft caught so much flack for - but hopefully they'll spill the beans soon and tell us what they plan to do.
Watch Dogs had me really excited last year, but the new CGI trailer is sort of "meh." I hope we get to see some more in-game footage.
Also super tired of getting bombarded with screens and trailers from COD and BF, fuck those games.
All this new Metal Gear Solid stuff is really exciting and really confusing, I'm super intrigued but not exactly expecting to know any actual info about the game when E3 is over.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of Cyberpunk as well, and perhaps Bioware will let some details slip about the new ME game.
Besides that, I'm just trying to be optimistic and hope that there will be some pleasant surprises.

For Nintendo, I'm very hyped for the new Smash Bros (which has been confirmed), new 3D Mario, and whatever game Retro is working on. Those + the titles they've already announced (X, FExSMT, 101, Pikmin, Yoshi) should hopefully put the Wii U on track.
Despite how bad the policies on XB1 are, I do want to see what franchise Rare is bringing back and any other interesting games they might have.
The only interesting things EA could possibly have are Mirror's Edge 2, a new Mass Effect, and PvZ Garden Warfare. Their last E3 conference was awful.
I have no idea what Ubisoft could show off at this point apart from a new IP shocker like Watch Dogs and more AssCreed rehashing. Seems like all of their franchises have had releases recently or will have some soon. Beyond Good & Evil 2 would be cool I guess.
Sony should also announce some exclusives that are actually interesting and hopefully show off The Last Guardian.
Price announcements from XB1 and PS4 would be huge. I'm gonna laugh my ass off if there's another "599 US Dollars" moment.

New MGS looks amazing. I'm glad to see Killer Instinct back. Ryse looks like ass.

FFXII was good. Bravely Default is supposed to be great also.

Those slow motherfuckers from team ICO better be announcing this, on next gen and with reworked graphics.

yeah but they aren't though. Nintendo are just as bad, they release really technically poor consoles that are always gimmicky and release titles in a stupid way that is designed to exploit younger children (catch all pokemon, you only need 6 different version of the same game to do it!/this new DS is slightly bigger than the old DS!/This DS has a useless 3D screen that you will never use!/This game requires a plastic surfing board that costs loads of money!)
The only games they release that are good are the games that I have played 10-15 years ago repackaged with barely better graphics and usually worse gameplay.

MGS5 will probably be more suited to the PS4 because of the familiar control system of the DualShock, that Ryse game looks like the typical QTE fodder but with a nice look, nothing they have shown has me saying WOW.

And with those two sentences I'm now interested in video games again.

Overall, I though MS's conference was pretty good, especially compared to last year. A few really cool looking games, and few decent looking games, only one bad game (Ryse). I'm not buying that shit though, especially for $99

You must not have paid much attention to newer Nintendo games then.
