There is no such thing as chillstep and i find the whole tone of your post from the thread title to your response and music repugnant in equal measure...

actual feedback - it sounds incredibly generic and like skrilleggz/brostep with the stupid noises removed and just the one dimensional bland uninteresting crappy sample cd drums and uninspired melody and sounds...listen to phaeleh or clubroot...incidentally phaeleh himself get's rather annoyed when people use the term chillstep as it indicates dubstep that is NOT full of stupid noises and midrange bass and stock sounds learned from a tutorial video on youtube is in fact the alternative to "true dubstep" that started when you first heard it in 2010 and ignores the wealth of dubstep that existed before you heard brostep and found it changed your life.

Dubstep is actually the deep atmospheric sound system music and not brostep...brostep has less in common with actual original dubstep than pretty dubstep like phaeleh...as a result people using the term chillstep are shown to anyone that has been into and involved with the sounds since before this shit existed as clearly idiots unaware of dmz, fwd & a time when it had a small community vibe.

I really like this tune, it brings the chill into chillstep, if i were you i would highpass the entire tune at 400hz as everything under there is not very chill (aka aggressive #base)

This. Be sure to keep some of those sub frequencies though so highpass at 399hz. Also use a minor key instead of major so you get the real chill feel like Burial
