So lately I've been experimenting in Ableton and shying away from the usual 140bpm standard kick-snare. I'm liking where trap was headed so I've decided to incorporate some of that into my track. Tips on where things sound iffy or where I could have adjusted volume, compressed, EQ'd etc. would be wicked. Thanks.

Interesting. Not really my genre I guess. But might I suggest placing an EQ on the snare and cutting out some of the white noise (or the synths)? My biggest criticism would be that there is a lot of white noise sound in it, I think its probably just some frequencies clashing that you could do without in certain intruments...

I would have to agree, my track could sound be sharpened and cleaned up a lot. I'm not too savvy when it comes to identifying where to cut some frequencies to make sure that they don't hurt the overall audio.

Any suggestions as to how you would personally go about identifying where things sound fuzzy and assign them their own frequency?

And to be frank, I don't even have a solid genre to throw it under. Appreciate your feedback. :4:
