Technical: Macbook upgrade or not?

Hey, (sorry for bad english)
I am going to buy a new macbook pro and i am not sure if i should take the option to upgrade my clockspeed up to 2,6 instead of 2,3
Is this going to be Benaficial or not?

Im not sure how much .3 ghz matters on a processor ...how much extra will it cost?

Doesn't the new mac books offer zero opportunity to further upgrades once brought?
I'd buy a used one from 2011 ( I think thats the last easily expandable generation) and upgrade that .

Clearly you don't know your macs either. The retina model is the one with glued in battery and flash storage. The older macbook pro is still available, and is just as upgradeable as ever. So why buy an old laptop with older processors when you can have a nice new one?
Oh and to the idiots saying buy a pc, its not what the op is asking for!

I'm the first person to admit I don't know a LOAD about macs - I used them for a few years in 08-11 but I am a windows/linux guy through and through, I offered my
opinion from what I believed was the situation. I also questioned my own statement, and said I THINK, in my second.
Should I educate you?
The correct response would of been something like.. You can still upgrade this gen macs, you mean the retina model with the glued in battery!

yeah and normally that would be my response, but when you've just been a dick to me in another thread why should i be civil?
