Skrillex to contribute "dark minimal riddim" to Hatcha CD

Hatcha and Friends, Hatcha's new compilation CD, will have tunes by Skream, Mala, and perhaps surprisingly, Skrilly boy.

Apparently the tune will be a Hatcha & Skrillz collab. Hatcha describes it as "dark and minimal".

doesn't surprise me tbh. Hatcha's selection and output have become worse and worse over the last couple of years. Hench hasn't seen anything good since that Mensah EP, and Hatched doesn't seem to bring anything new to the table. so yeah.
skirlly tune will probably have super polished and clean production but sound totally boring. guess it's good tho, this way some edm knobs will hear some proper music by mystikz and the likes.

The tune will probably be ruined instantly by that horrible 200hz white noise snare he uses on every tune. Still though, I'm curious now and will give it a chance.

I reckon skrilly man will try his hand at everything. He'll do a "deep house" track with his girlfriend on vocal eventually.

This probably won't be much worse than a lot of the dungeon stuff doing the rounds atm
Part of me feels like dubstep died a little when everyone started doing good mixdowns / engineering on their tracks lol

This album's going to be sick. Collaborations with Mala, J:Kenzo, Genetix and more. Hatcha still smashes it - he's doing a DMZ label showcase b2b HiJak on Kiss this week!

last time i lsitened to anything by hatcha he played a brostep set on getdarker (preceded by an incredible set by Dj Crises
)
i am very skeptical
+dungeon is kinda stagnant as it is

I have a feeling the skrillex track is just gonna be a dungeon tune that those guys would love if it wasn't made by the skrilly man
