Ive got a few questions...

I know its a pretty unknown DAW, which is fine, I like it and Id prefer it over others. But there isnt much about it in terms of advanced tutorials on youtube. unless they dont have a lot of views or something, because I cant find anything... So if you know of some please feel free to post links here, ill def go watch them.

Anyways, Presence:

I pretty much know it inside out, but when it comes to filter modulation Im still sorta confused.
what kinds of shapes do I need to make in order to make dirty sounds? should i use lines or parabolas? should i make triangles or sines? If anybody who doesnt use SO that knows this could answer it for me is welcome to. I know that it doesnt matter what DAW you use, because they all operate somewhat the same. Its just easier to ask someone who uses the same software.

For Mojito:

Can you add Presence synths to it? Because if you could... my god thatd be wonderful. I cant figure out how to.
Ive tried messing around with it and its pretty powerful, but the presets suck balls.

To answer your second question, no, your cant add mojito to presence. Presence is a rompler with a fixed library. So what you see is what you get.

And for your first question, the filters in presence arnt going to give you too much dirt on there own. There mostly hp/lp sort of things. Also the built in fx just arnt good IMO. Go pick up camel crusher from camel audio. It's free and sounds great. Will definitly give you that dirt your after.

I guess what Im trying to ask is, is there a way to transfer a synth into Mojito from Presence? and could you in general add new synths to Mojito? they dont necessarily dont have to be from Presence.

Speaking of camel crusher. I have it downloaded but I cant seem to upload it into SO. its in my VST folder and everything as a .dll, but it wont show up. how did you upload yours?

Mojito is a monophonic synth so you can't transfer anything into it. It makes its own sounds. Presence is an instrument that uses sampled material. It only accepts the the sound sets that were made for it by presonus. So you can't add anything to it.

If camel crusher is in your vst folder, just right click on the effects page (in S1) and a little window will pop up with some options on it. Just click refresh and it should show up.
