Hey dubfaces,

I have a track in mind with a specific sound, but I couldn't find such a patch and couldn't synthetise it myself (im quite a noob yet) and i'm posting here hoping that some1 can help me with it :P

you can hear the midrangy sound im looking to recreate from 18:20 in this mix

https://soundcloud.com/djmacrohard/enko ... -macrohard

it is very similar to the sound in the blade soundtrack 'blood rave'

I'd love to recreate this sound, but point me to the preset would be very useful too.
thanks in advance :)

Bests,
F1rst

you're gonna have to be more specific about which sound you're talking about.

My guess it could be some modern talking? It has that hollow vowel sound. It sounds like its massive with a bend minus on some wavetables. Try Crude, modern talking and a square to hollow it out. Then add your filter ether another vst or in massive. Seems like double notch with a sync lfo. Add the usual inserts like parabolic and sine shaper. Also put a dimension expander and fiddle around with the voicing.

Hey sorry, i couldn't describe it any better way, but by listening to 'blood rave' you should know that I meant that sound which goes all alogn the drop from 18:34 in the mix I linked with a rythm like this tuu-tuu-tuu|tuu-tuu-tu-tu-tu.

use square or saw waves. On the filter assign an envelope to cutoff and resonance. Dialing in those parameters will get that sound, perhaps with an added flanger?...Open to being corrected on this but in your example, it without a doubt has an envelope with a long(er) attack and short(er) delay.

Cheers all.

Is the main sound in this song what you were looking for m8?

I'm kind of interested in that as well
