hi, first post and all that, i've been lurking for ages but don't really know anything about dubstep (or at least enough to discuss it) so haven't contributed ;x

just after a tune id, was wondering if anyone could help?

about a month ago i was at a night in Newcastle - arcane, if you're interested ;p - and total science played the last set in the drum n bass room. the very last tune they played was a remix of toasty's The Knowledge which wasn't exactly drum n bass but wasn't exactly breakstep.... i suppose it sounded a bit like 'duppy man', same sort of tempo but with nuttier drums. when i asked them who it was by they said it was a bugz remix but i haven't been able to find it anywhere, including on the interweb. this is a terrible shame, because it was so good that i almost soiled myself ;[

any ideas? cheers in advance :]

well, it might have been an idea if i listened to the whole of the vex'd remix

he brought it in after the second drop, and had it pitched up a few notches. it was the double snare that made me think it was something else. sorry to have gotten your hopes up! ;[
