Just got my laptop delivered on wednesday and i'd like to get back into my music production more serious. I'm slowly learning how to use vst's like the basics and what not by looking up tutorials. I can't seem to find any information on how to make classic house synths/organs idk what to call them.
Looking to make synths like Detroit Swindle, Bicep, Nikola Gala etc.. I just wanna know what direction i should be heading in to make that type of synth. I'm using sylenth1 and abletons vst, analog if that helps.

what synth your using would help....
get a decent chord sample, drive it hard in to a lowpass filter, sweep along the filter to the find the tone you want, vary drive....
also the chords/keys you plays matters quite a lot, many synths have house organ bass presets though so have a look

well you wanna use like saw square sine and triangle waves really, if you wanna make the classic old sounds, cos back in them days thats all what would be around, unless it was FM or synth/samplers.
and when you are doing chords, usually it would be like the same chord shape for each chord in the progression, so pick a cool sounding chord then stick with that shape
