So as you can see on this track there are a ton of different melodies going on and they sound really.. Uplifting, I really like them, and when I try to do similar it doesn't work out all that well, I've tried a ton of different methods but I just can't get them to work together, any tips/advice? Thanks

I know this probably isn't dubstep but y'know, I was hoping to make some melody filled tunes like this, thanks again.

Practice, maybe read a book on music theory, then practice some more.

When I first read the OP I thought it was your track as and example and said to myself "That's pretty freaking good, whats the problem?" LOL

Well in that track, all the melodies are made from the same pentatonic scale so naturally they sound good together. It's kind of a basic thing to point out, but if you try to combine melodies that come from different scales, they might not always work together.

Also from what I noticed in that track is that there is always one melody that is the "king" melody and the other ones are lower in volume and in the background. So use volume and eq to your advantage to make sure all your melodies aren't clashing and that one of them is clearly the focus.

music is kinda about math and fractions. so if you want a bunch of melodies to work together you have to keep that in mind. one of the melodies is looping 2 times every bar, one of the melodies is looping once every two bars, and then there are random incidentals that help aid the story development of the melody. every 8 bars the filters on the synths open up a bit more. half way through the build up the synth hits some new higher notes that sound like they are taking us somewhere new. keep in mind all the noises in the background... not just the white noise but also the pads, tones, etc.

taek a chord progression, a few chords that sound good to you. Then voice them. Say your first chord was A minor, thats ACE. Now, you can invert the chord and play E in the bass A in the middle and C in the highest voice (soprano) if you'd like. Take that idea and run with it. Or you can take the same loop of a chord progression and put a delay on it, I like 3/8 for this purpose, and bam you've got automatic harmony. That's just an easy way of doing what the above was describing, you can have the same thing basically going on, but use loops of different lengths and it can sound more complex than it actually is.

I don't own a copy of FL studio,
I have a legitemate copy of Ableton Live, I've never learned to play any instruments I just enjoy making music, and now I am trying to learn, and due to your absolute lack of being able to accept that people out there want to make music that aren't 40 years old and had a lifetime of musical experience, people like me who is just starting out have trouble learning.

Proper gain staging and EQ'ing are necesssary when multiple parts are playing at once. Try to filter out unnecessary frequencies in a parametric EQ to prevent different parts from clashing together.
