Porn in the UK to become 'opt in'

Every household in the UK is to have pornography blocked by their internet provider unless they choose to receive it, David Cameron is to announce.
In addition, Mr Cameron will say possessing online pornography depicting rape will be illegal, bringing England and Wales in line with Scotland.
In a speech, the prime minister will warn that access to online pornography is "corroding childhood".
The new measures will apply to both existing and new customers.
Family-friendly filters will be automatically selected for all new customers - though they can choose to switch them off.
And millions of existing computer users will be contacted by their internet providers and told they must decide whether to activate filters to prevent their children accessing unsuitable material.

That's to appear moderate and liberal. The only point of this law is to try to get support from both socially conservative and socially libertarian voters.

Sex shops in London are required to have frosted/opaque glass facades so they can't be seen into, 'lads' mags are sold in supermarkets with plastic divider to hide their covers. This is a similar approach.

What exactly classifies as porn? Does it cover material often labeled as "erotica", nudes images and the like? I have gigs of stuff that would probably fall into the latter classification. I don't like hardcore porn at all ( gang-bangs etc.) but that doesn't mean I think other people should have to go through so much trouble to possess it. Seems like a waste of time and effort.
