Why do audio companies think it's ok to advertise things like this?

Modulation is power. Power is sex. Create stunning trance gates with the step sequencer, do some giant wobbles with the wobble generator or let all the modulators interact with each other.
...Yes! Have a big gay modulator orgy with every output fucking the shit out of every input until they all scream in superunison...

The original wow filter was pretty cool, only problem was it got really over used (much like massive). Im really digging the new interface, and am interested in hearing what the moog and ms-20 filters sound like. Aside from that though, theres much better ways to spend $100

Would be better if the demo wasn't half arsed 303 or vowel style squelches.

They're definitely pushing uncomfortable territory when they say "Power is sex." If word of this got to jezebel, all the white feminists would have a fucking field day with it.

Aside from that I don't give a shit about this product or its outrageously tacky advertising :)

"Get WOW2 now! (Skrillex, Boys Noise, SiriusMo, Modeselektor, MouseOnMars already did)"
LOL what a proper endorsement

This sounds SIGNIFICANTLY more awesome than anything you can actually get out of WOW/WOW2.

Frankly, I'd rather not have sounds overproduced and drowned in other FX when advertizing a FX unit. ;-)

Why don't you just get massive? Massive has all of those filters + 3 distortion types.

I also thought it looked quite good, don't know why there's so much hate for this filter on the forum. It's a pretty cool filter imo, sounds different to most other filters. Glad they've updated it, I'm going to give it a try.

Massive's filters were the reason I didn't buy it when I demoed it forever ago.

fairly sure massive doesn't ms-20 and moog filters though does it?
(though I don't know how good the wow emulations of them are)

Where's the hate for the product? It's the marketing most people are laughing at

Its the same type of hate that anything that people use gets around here. Its not a bad product, it just has a sound that people recognize. And we all know that unless you're using a filter that you've made yourself from old coffee grounds and a roll of duct tape recorded in a sound proof room running through some antiquated piece of outboard gear that no ones ever heard of because they only made like 4 of them back in 1976 before deciding that the materials would be better suited to be turned into aluminum foil, that people are going to hate on it.
