I would like to know what everybody considers the absolute best sample pack(s), e.g. packs that cost money etc....Samples that if used, will mimic the best of the best in current dubstep. Just throw me some pack names, I'll have a look at them, thank you!!!

EDIT: I mean like stuff like Vengeance or others. I just have a REALLLLY hard time finding good sounding kicks, typical fat dub snares, and the rest :/ The price really don't matter, just that I have the same stuff le pros use.

DLR is about to release another one, his first with Octane was already fire. dnb focussed, but will certainly contain a few other bits as well. guy must be one of the best producers atm, along with some experimental guys like Frederic Robinson.

Really depends on the style you're after, the vengeance packs are pretty good for brostep stuffs so I'd just buy them and layer with 909's and acoustic sounds

I got an HK sample pack, has everything I need. I could use some more acoustic snare drums though.

this is very subjective... what do you consider examples of "best of the best in current dubstep"

Pop music Hit Kit for everything, goldbaby for drum machines and enchanted circle ethnic vinyl for percussion.

The new district sample pack had some brilliant kicks and snares in it too

Most sample packs by Loopmasters, Producer Loops, Rankin Audio, Black Octopus (They cater towards FL Studio users), Freaky Loops, and Famous audio.

Also what Brothulhu said is great also, District's sample pack is quite good but the basses have reverb on them which makes it a challenge for resampling.

For drums you can use really any sample pack as long as they sound good to you. As for what the 'Pros' use some will sample drums from other obscure tracks or make/record their own. Personally i'd stay away from Sample Pack buy Loopmasters as everybody uses them.

Loop the middle part of it in a sampler

There is no 'best', we're like 10 posts in and people have already mentioned a ton of different sample packs. I personally find vengeance 1 shots to be complete garbage, their loops and effects are nice though. The majority of stuff I use is from producers putting out their own packs (emperor/centra and disctrict) or free packs I've grabbed just from browsing around (Billain, Koan Sound, random stuff off DSF/DOA/Anjunabeats forums). I guarantee you can make some dope drums with the packs you already have.

If it's not too much for you, could you maybe direct me to the producer packs you mentioned? THANK YOU!

Vengance and Goldbaby usually get all of the praise. Personally, i dont much care for the vengance stuff, its just compressed to all hell. Id rather do that stuff myself. Some of the NI Maschine stuff is pretty nice (and yes, you dont need maschine to use the samples. 90% of the time when im using them im not even using maschine.) Most of what im using is a free pack that Primeloops gave away not too long ago. Its a little over 2 gigs of samples broken down into 7 genres. Pretty good stuff in there, and the price was more then right. CM also gave away 2 gigs or so of Soundorder samples with one of there issues. Some nice stuff in there also.

Granted, i only use sample packs for drum sounds (kick/snare/hats/ect). All the leads and basses that come with packs sound pretty shitty to me. But thats just me.

That's pretty much the same with Image Line's Groove Machine before FL 11, you don't have to use the VST to use the samples, and most of the time I've used the drum samples without it.
