Let's be fair, he could be a spoiled 16 yo with rich parents and not software pirate. A spoiled 16 yo would leave an expensive piece of software on the shelf for a month.mthrfnk wrote:So you bought a £300 piece of software, which didn't work for over a month and you didn't think to contact the manufacturer or retailer?
Hah I suppose, which is equally irritating...fragments wrote:Let's be fair, he could be a spoiled 16 yo with rich parents and not software pirate. So you are saying it isn't dumb to fuck around with a 500 dollar piece of software for over month and not contacting customer service? Even if it was slow, he'd have some kind of answer by now.claudedefaren wrote:I love how suspicious everyone gets here. Props to wub and swerver for not trying to play piracy detective
I wasn't suspicious, just astounded someone would drop that amount of money on a "faulty" product and hasn't contacted either his retailer or SpectraSonicsclaudedefaren wrote:I love how suspicious everyone gets here. Props to wub and swerver for not trying to play piracy detective

Obviously, the software can't find some of the files it's looking for. So it's either a faulty install or you deviated from the typical install options and now it can't find the patches.
Oh. So it turns out you are fucking tnuc. Go fuck yourself, I hope it never works for you.Threshold_bass wrote:and yes, I do plan on purchasing Omnisphere once I start to actually make some money with it
