im seriously considering starting up some form of step only film production team. the format can definately be linked, the question is, would anyone actually be interested in having one made? for free of course

I've made a documentary on dubstep that will be on
www.undergroundsoundz.co.uk very soon as well as all sorts of dubstep video content.
As far as music videos go I don't believe it will fit in the conventional sense but I do think there is room for an artistic impression using animation.

i think a dubstep video would need a strong narrative to really be interesting and not just background visuals.

Hey, what do you think of the video I am currently producing? I havent finished it yet because I have someone working on the particle physics for the snow. I think the most important thing about a dubstep music video is to try and visualize the sound of the bass and the feeling that that you get from hearing it at a night. The idea for my animation is to have the snow distort to the soundwaves that come from the speakers. I have the Hummers driving through the snow to park up and the speakers fold out of the boot when it opens up.
The track is my brother Metaphi's remix of the Lloyds TSB advert tune, and I am producing the style of the video as a tribute to the advert animations. The video that is on Youtube at the moment is just a teaser trailer which I produced from screenshots of the unfinished animation.
