Bruv..

from when Rhythm & Gash dropped. I stopped making it, listening to it.

I even changed my name, thats how DEEP it was.

Then people started fiending for Scorcher beats.

Which also made me stand up and think, fuck grime.

Geeni is doing grime a favour, but to ban it till further notice is jus showing sourness.

Specially if it is P related.

yeh the ban is sourness, but even plasticman dont really support grime. its when the mc's took over the scene, people instead of making Grime Music, it turned into making music for mc's that grime.
the tradition of UK music, is heavily embedded in dark underground music, with low basses etc etc.

So is there a new timetable or what? Is rinse stil unorganised as fuck? heard heny g got removed which is wierd considering that he was fairly popular.

Where was this said anyway? on the rwd forum? Please tell the source.

Rinse as a pirate ain't the same anymore anyway. I can never get a signal and i'm not too far when I'm in London (SE1). It's moved into internet radio territory really. (although it still has no website)

And what about tubby and newham gens? they gone too?
I personaly don't think dubstep and funky house are enough to sustain an interesting FM radio station.

wiley jus take over the station,ur the godfather of grime its ur duty..

if the stuff being produced is shit then why keep it? although i don't see how two genres are gonna keep enough people locked in

Grime is far from dead.

Skepta and Ghetts clashing on Saturday, Soul Food, Axiom EP, Wiley's Music Money if effed, Young Dot, Jammer etc.

I am yet to believe this is true but if it its a fucking disgrace. Rinse has hosted vocal garage/grime since 1999 or so, and now suddenly its dropped and yesterdays news? Grime at its best is still better than dubstep at its best for me.

what the fuck?

is this something to do with those huge clashes going on this weekend?

absolutely ridiculous. I can't really identify with the stuff people are posting here either.. I swear 2007's been pretty good for the music, and to abandon a scene cos of a few little things that're pissing you off... that's just weird.

For my money Grime is still (some of) the best underground UK music being made. The fact that someone like Trim is basically a better rapper than 95% of millionaire US MCs and even people into UKHH haven't heard of him is a joke. But if people are going to be narrow minded about Grime then fuck em, lets keep it for us who appreciated and support it.

load of mc's turned up and (IMO) ruined distance's set. pulled up every single bloody tune and chatting rubbish.

maybe it's because distance is one of my favourite dj's/producers and i'm not a fan of grime but i thought it was painful
