Really deep mid-emerging bass?

Alright so IMO this is the nicest bass in the world:

Soundcloud

The artist 'Infectiouz' has this unbelievably clean style, but the bass in this tune at like 00:54, that wobble it's so deep, so simply but so clean. I was wondering if anyone had any tips/tutorial on how to make basses like this, I've heard it used in songs by people by the likes of Kryptic Minds too, wanted to try something similar, deep and minimal.
Any information would be great, thanks, DSF!

Have a great day! :4:

(don't know how to make the bass)

I'm starting to like these type of tunes more and more.
So fresh. I'm wondering how the drums were made...

you can make that bass sound in about 2 seconds flat with operator in ableton or the included fm synth in logic. basically you just want modulate, in fm terms, two sine waves together. the second one should be an octave higher than the first. as you change the modulation amount it will introduce those overtones. you change that by hand or with an envelope or whatever. you might need to compress it as well, or split the frequencies, as when the overtones come in you lose some of the low end.

Alternatively, massive's sine-square WT is great for this. Automate the position, turn it from sine to square to increase harmonics. Add all the other filters/effects/inserts/LFOs/whatever else as you usually would.

But if you have FM8 and understand FM synthesis, I would go with what deconstruct said.
