I didn't spend $1000 on my tv to have these big ass bars on the top and bottom of my screen during fucking Titanic. Get that shit out of here, you're fucking up bad acting, great cinematography, and 1 1/2 nipples.

I found it amazing that The Wire was actually shot in 4:3.

It should only do that if it is not anamorphic. Given that Titanic was released around the early days of DVD maybe they didn't release it in anamorphic widescreen?

I think he's on about 16:10 not 16:9
