What would be the best way to make the lead synth at the drop in this song; something close to it atleast. I am really wanting to modify it a little bit, but I just can't get this sound.

Thanks ahead of time guys.

Saw no ones posted a response and felt kinda bad ahah but ive listen to the tune a couple times now, headphones over my ear and blasting it. Not bad tune really, not much of a trap person but that lead is very unique. What i can hear from it, is a vocal shot. Maybe vocoded or not but you can hear when it goes deh deh deh deh doh dooh dooh douh, and repeats. That sounds like that effect when you play a wav in a sampler and it the timestretching to pitch it slows down or speeds up the song. Will try something with a vocal and maybe try vocode it when im done eating.

Neat little synt! Also could be a format fliter and as its changing pitch its all change the A E O sound to it..

Sounds like a vocal sample pitched then layered with a supersaw pluck.

Anytime! I dont have fl but applied the same thing in ableton. Used an old girl accepella and messed around to find a good AH note and duplicated the track and shifted the midi down one more octave and applied some small fxs and eq the mid freqs and boosted lows and highs.

That's well done man, how'd you do the supersaw pluck? I'm terrible at leads.

Funny enough it has no supersaw pluck. I'm terrible at getting mine to shine and phase good.

So what I did was which helped with the sound was simply duplicating and shifting that track down an octave. Then I set up a channel with little bit of reverb, chorus, flanger, a simple delay and Eq the lows down a bit and put a notch in the mid for more vocal effect. Lastly boosted the high. Sent both tracks to that channel. Wasn't hard finding the notes out Tbh.

I think I could make something a little bit better if I didn't spend 5 min :corncry:

For the actual sound in the orginal version of the song he uses binary voice in nexus.

Also I think for the actual song, he used nexus with a preset. I've herd it before but I lost nexus from switching to my mac lol.

Thanks, I'll try this out when I get home, and try to create a decent pluck-ish fm sound. then process it like what you said.
