Ok so it seems that I run across metal fans here and there in the SNH so I wanted to create a thread where they can discuss there passions for metal. Topics to be discussed are as follows.

-Origins of metal
-favorite metal bands of the late 80's early 90's
-your favorite current metal band
-what it is about metal that makes you want to punch a baby, kidding about the punch a baby thing of coarse

-best metal vocalist IYO
-best metal drummer IYO, guitarist, bassist, ect ect....

Anyway you get the point. Debates against metal being good are also acceptable.

big ups for cemetary gates.

ive been listening to wolves in the throne room pretty much exclusively lately (big ups scope)

also does anyone remember the lil ugly mane black metal tune from the three sided tape? i cant remember what its called. solve my dilemma for big ups.
