checking in wit my old dsf pals, suddenly realized how large a part of my middle school years this forum was, despite the fact that 86.7% of the members hate me
I hear soiree is the new me, which is really sad because that dude's a dick
amsterdam is great, started school at the international school and it's pretty sick, plus there are house parties here which is cool, because that didn't happen at boarding school
pretty much keeping it under control on the whole drug front, I messed around a couple times with morning glory seeds/LSA, tried kratom a couple times, but this has all been spread out over a pretty large amount of time so I'm pretty good
I can't for the life of me manage to produce music anymore, it's like my attention span for it is shot and I hate everything I'm making so I always give up. it's frustrating as fuck.
I've gotten really into film though. Linklater, Scorcese, Gudard, aronofsky, coppola, etc. I've started trying to write a screenplay of sorts but it's tough because I have no idea how to, so it's basically just a word document that's a journal of all these thoughts that I have and interactions with people I have in real life that strike me for some reason
I've also gotten into some more diverse music. I was never into any music with songwriters/lyrics (except hip hop of course), but I've started digging into that. Got started on Bon Iver and then started going through all the Bob Dylan when I saw a docu about him called Don't Look Back, and then Pink Floyd and the Beatles and the Grateful Dead etc
I'm still alive! and life isnt too bad, tho it's a bit confusing
