Some git broke into my house the other week and robbed my laptop with about 50gb of music on it from the last 8 years.

on the plus side its all backed up to an old 2nd gen Ipod.

How the ras do i move it from the ipod to the PC? :u:

Ive followed a few you tube videos and downloaded a couple of programs but they have either not worked or want me to pay because of the volume of files.

Does anyone have a tried an tested free method???

Aiff files should be converted to mp3.

Could you not just copy the aiff files and add them to the database?

TBH mate, im basically computer illiterate so i havnt got a clue.

Also, i had all the music sorted into play lists with photos etc, which i really am hopping i can avoid having to do again.

Im thinking computers get robbed all the time so there must be a program that will do it for me?

That's basically what I mentioned but more in depth.
Setup your ipod as a data storage device, copy off the data and re-add to ipod.
