I've been messing around with squares and a double notch filter which is getting me in right direction i think, but I can't get very close...
Any tips?

yeah i'd say squares. lowpass. reverb/pingpong delay. maybe chorus. then it comes down to getting the amp envelope right and layering different oscillators correctly. it sounds pretty thin to be honest. like, it doesn't sound like 2 8-voiced detuned squares. it sounds more like one square with maybe a sine or triangle layer. you'll have to experiment.
