KRK Rokit 5 keeps going louder and quieter over time!?

I've only owned my Rokits for like 2 months and already had to send one of them off to get repaired because it was just completely fucked (I've always treated them well, I did a music tech course and follow all the procedures for proper care, never even have them nearly loud).
The one Rokit i'm using at the minute will suddenly drop around 5db for seemingly no reason, and later return to the original volume. This can sometimes happen every 5 minutes or even more frequent but other times it will not happen all night. I'm also pretty certain it's not my audio interface as the Rokit does the same thing when connected to my dj mixer. That's also using a different cable so i'm pretty sure it's not the cables either.
Wondering if anyone's ever had a problem similar to this? Any experts know a possible cause? was wondering if maybe it was a dodgey power supply in my new place or something because i've moved up to uni recently and never noticed this volume change in my old house and that's the only thing that could explain it, unless it's something to do with the internal wiring. Tbh though i may have never noticed it before because of having two monitors running at the same time made it more difficult to hear the volume change and now i'm just using one it's more obvious?
