Good bit of tearout/bro crossover here, have to say I did have my head nodding for the first drop
The piano stabs that are in there go a long way towards ramping up the tension, and the midrange wobbles work well with the other elements. Everything is complimenting itself and the mixdown gives each element a space to breathe in.

Thanks a lot! I'm glad you liked it.
And to be honest I wasn't really sure how to name the subgenre, so you helped me with that.

(I probably will have to do quite a bit of reading/listening on that subject, as I just tend to generalise and say I make Dubstep)
You can check out my new track too, if you'd like. This one is a bit different.

Liking that piano chord section at the start, nicely filtered in and really rises up in the mix to bring the listener in. Wow, that breakbeat is fucking wicked. Got some proper old skool piano rave vibes on it.
The midrange drop is a bit less pleasing, personally speaking, but compliments the rest of the tune well. Liking how the beat switches up as well, and the piano comes back in leading to the second midrange @ 1m50s...could do with a little more variation on the wobbles etc though in that section to stop it feeling quite so repetitive.
The call and response of the two sections (breakbeat vs. wobble) is a lovely touch, I might even suggest having a section where the interplay takes place a bit faster, so you've got 4 bars vs 4 bars or even 2 bars vs 2 bars to really get them to play off one another.
Like the heavier drum sounds that come back in later on, but felt that the programming from 3m50s onwards could do with a switch up to break up the sections a bit more...maybe a variation in the programming or introducing a new percussion element etc. Also felt that, given the rave vibe of this tune, that a vocal sample here or there wouldn't go amiss to lending some identity to the tune.
Overall, this is very impressive stuff

Wow! Thanks again for the response!
I do admit I finished the work on this track pretty abruptly, just copying the first drop without variation.
I will quite possibly work on a VIP mix, (or basically a second version) and will definitely make use of your great feedback!
I actually plan on working with some vocalists in the near future (actually currently trying to found a live dubstep band with some friends) and I already thought of adding vocals to the track.
I am glad you appreciate it, and thanks again for the feedback!
Cheers!
