A friend of mine went to Amsterdam last weekend to play at the Paradiso alongside Mala and Coki. I am a longtime fan of Digital Mystikz so I gave him my copy of DMZ001 to get it signed from the two. It wasn't easy but in the end, he managed to get both, Coki & Mala, to sign the record for me!

Sadly though, when he put the record out of hand to put his coat on, someone sneaked into the backstage area, grabbed the record mailer containing the record plus an Albert Heijn plastic bag also containing records, and took of running. It was literally a few seconds when my buddy turned his back! When he turned back, the record was gone and he saw the guy rush out.

I don't think that I will ever get the record back. But maybe, if someone who reads this, gets offered a DMZ001 with scribbling on it that looks like signatures of Coki and Mala and a seller located in Amsterdam ... well, I don't know. All I know is, I wish him the worst. He is not the righteous owner.

yes, more than sure. De doesn't own a record player, pure digital. Plus me owning this record means alot to him, too.

My cousin switched from vinyl to digital a while ago because pikeys kept stealing his spare needles

I thought I might try to write to 2nd Hand Record Stores in Amsterdam and ask, if they got it offered. Does anyone know stores in Amsterdam that buy used vinyl? Mainly, I would try the stores that buy club music, but I would give a shot at the stores that buy vintage vinyl, too. Any recommendations?

There's a place called vintage voudou and one called redlight records that both stock second hand stuff. Not really any dubstep in either but I'm sure they'd keep an eye out for you.

No websites so you'll probably have to find them on facebook.

Whats the problem if the guy reads this? He gets called a tnuc by other users (what he obviously is) and maybe is scared to sell the records to a 2nd hand record store because he knows people are looking out. So he cant make the profit. And he can't harm me more than he has done already.

I sought second hand stores online plus contacted the ones mentioned by PinUp via facebook. Nice guys, some already responded, but no luck until now. Please let me know if you know any other stores that dont have a website or pop up in search engines.

I just want my record back, no matter for what price. But that is not gonna happen if I look at it realistically ...

There's no problem. But maybe he was thinking of selling it to a 2nd hand shop and now he will try it on an individual basis. Nevermind, hope you get it back and will let you know if I find it anywhere.
