what kettles you guys running atm? just broke mine so im thinking of getting a new one
tempted to go for a rapid boil - much quicker boil and a high insulation for overall longer lasting heat
so far within my price range i think ive narrowed it down to 2:
#1
With 3000 watts of power this kettle delivers a rapid boiling performance. The kettle has a generous 1.7 litre water capacity and a concealed element.
The Russell Hobbs 19341 Jewels Ruby Cordless Kettle has a stunning ruby red exterior with a gloss finish that adds elegance to water boiling.
a real beauty for any kitchen i reckon
but im not sure if im letting how good it looks sway my opinion, cus i still want a strong capable kettle
#2
This is the one i really want - also cordless but with a 360 degree rotating base, so realistically you can boil almost anywhere
also if im willing to pay and extra £30 i can get it with the Accents 4 Slice Translucent Black Toaster. At the moment im only running a 2 slice, so that is definitely an exciting prospect for me
&
I'm trying to combine price, efficiency and speed together to come up with my best possible option
what do u guys think

i might buy a toaster separately tho, just found out u can get ones that are see-through! so you can watch your toast, toast
expensive tho probz have to get one on finance :/ but all worth it once you're rocking this in your kitchen

That is pretty fucking sick. If anything's worth a Wonga loan, it's a see-through toaster.

both of the ones in OP look great, might go for one of those more "kettleish" in appearance, like the one below

That first one is nice agent but the second with the toaster is another kettle of fish entirely.
I'm sorry.

just heat water with your blender (full power for an hour and a half should do it)

Now now Ben, I'm not sure someone in your esteemed position should be giving out such dangerous advice...

We have a LeCreuset kettle.
Too big, takes long to boil because of the size, uses loads of gas because it's too large.

Cost a damn fortune though.
Heavy-guage steel coated with hard, durable glossy enamel.
It was for the wife.

I think I need to get myself a 4 slice toaster, running a 2 slice ATM and it's fucking garbage if I'm honest, especially if more than one person is wanting toast

I don't like the design of the black one - the handle over the lid is a pain and having the handle on the top is not conducive with care-free pouring of hot liquids.
Couldn't tell you what make mine is. It's white and has a lime scale catcher by the spout. Don't know how much it cost (my ex left it here about five years ago) but I doubt it was Wonga worthy back then let alone now!

The kettle doesn't release steam from the lid so it's the same as a normal kettle really.
I never get hot steam near my hand or anything.
