They're fucking loud - slightly glossy but you'll get used to it and always reference on other systems - if you can get em for a decent price go for em

If you need cables go to this place...
http://www.cadencecables.com/
I used to work there and they are quality cables at dirt cheap prices... they sell everything from a guitar lead, pro looms or can even wire up your full studio for ya....

my monitor was from pc world samsung one cost 150
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/ ... oid=-27763
it ain't pretty like these new ones BUT 17" screen with built in tv adapter, dv vga & scart sockets and tv aerial socket
so its a full tv, no tv card or nuffin rqd - plugged my pc in the vga, the scart goes to a dvd player and the tv lead goes into the hole in the wall.
not the cheapest but i aint seen a flat 17 inch tv/lcd monitor for 150 squid nowhere else!!
HOLD UP - just been on pc world website to get the link, some company called AOC got one that looks toe-for-toe but 19" screen
