Found a post I made from another thread about eptic sounds:
It was actually kind of tough

NI Massive
Osc 1:
Pitch = 0
WT = Arctic (Bend -/+)
WT-Pos is at 1:30
Intensity is 100%
Amp is 100%
Route to Filter 1
This higher pitch will give you the crunch, you'll understand later.
Osc 2:
Pitch = -36
WT = Sine (Spectrum)
WT-Pos is all the way left
Intensity is 100%
Amp is 100%
Route to Filter 1
Just for you sub
Osc 3:
Pitch = -24
WT = Sine (Formant)
WT-Pos is all the way left
Intensity is 100%
Amp is at 1:30
Route to Filter 1
This will give you nice distortion when you phase it.
Mod Osc:
Pitch = -12
Phase on Osc 3
Phase is at 9 o' clock
Next, set F2 to serial.
I used a comb filter (very lightly) and a...
Scream Filter:
Cutoff at 55% with a LFO on it going all the way til it hits the end.
Scream is at 1:30 to 2 o' clock
Res is at 10-11 o' clock.
Now add in 2 Parabolic shapers in the Insert FXs bringing all 4 of the knobs to 45%.
Voicing - I did 4 voices with monophonic turned on and pan position 1/4 from the left. Legato Always.
Teletube as FX 1, both knobs at about 40%.
Dimension Expander - Dry/Wet to 40% and Size at 0%.
EQ a boost in the high shelf to about the 1:30 area.
There ya' go. It's a fancy patch that I don't know how I came up with

Distortion on sine waves (and formants) is a sexy trick to making sweet sounds.
(I just remade the patch following these instructions. There are some very slight tweaks to get it to sound like mine, but that's a good thing. Now you're kind of forced to make it sound like you want it.)
