Change the thread title to 50% of Native Instruments products.
I mean $74.50 for k9 upgrade is totaly ludicrous.
It was low when I paid the $150 recently.

I just got my Mini and this is great timing!

Why can't Doepfer or Mackie 'go to Ludacris speed'?
That's stuff I need.

I just realized that my ipad spelled it Ludacris like the rapper instead of ludicrous as in ludicrous. Oh well.

I think the sale ends in like 2 weeks.
*edit* yup, December 9th.

I know dude, there's hardware I want that's not on sale. Seems like there's a predominance of software that's considerably cheaper. One of the benefits of a product that's infinitely duplicable at no cost I guess.

Depends on what you need I guess. Subtractive synths are a dime a dozen. At least Razor offers a relatively unique approach. If you've already got another similar additive synth (like Harmor?) but no good analogue models, go with Monark. If you've already got U-He Diva or something similar, go for Razor. Personally I don't give two fucks about a mono subtractive synth, but Razor is interesting and cool for sound design. Seems like it'd be a much more versatile choice without knowing your specific needs.

I really like Razor. I think its a highly underrated synth. And the sounds are just bonkers. They just released a update to it also with a bunch of new features and some really good presets. IMHO $50 for it is a no brainer. Even if its not the most versatile synth out there, its a great source of inspiration. Also good for those "wtf?!" sounds.

If NI knew my fantasy, they would've put a discount on Komplete too.

If NI knew my fantasy, they would've somehow found a way to fit Diana Morales holding a pound of Durban Poison into a vst.

The upgrade is so cheap.
Try to find K5 for a steal like I did.

First attempt, no luck so far. But I'll keep trying.
I coullld just buy the update already and buy my time until I stumble across a cheap Komplete 5, right?

I'm not sure tbh. At some point they will ask for your komplete serial, I just don't know if that's before or after you purchase it. Check the NI forums. They might know.
I really wish I wasn't broke. K9 crossgrade for $199!? Fml.

I actually just bought a new copy of komplete 9, and bought the upgrade to komplete 9 ultimate. 750 instead of 1000.
