Ninjas, I'm gonna be in San Francisco for a week from 13th Dec. Anything good going on or is there anything off the normal tourist stuff that I should check out?

Am an hour south, so can't say, but there is a pretty good sf peepage. Let them post. And I'll keep bumping until they do.

Then again, maybe they've all been banned.

Cool thanks for that, will definitely check that out! Might have to give tech house a go. Probably just go chill in a non-pretentious bar.

Hoping to go on some day trips out of town too. Planning on Yosemite even though it's snow covered. But any other suggestions welcome too!

You gotta do Muir Woods too. Trust.

Yosemite is best done over 2 or 3 days, and this time of year is gonna be pretty socked in with snow - we've had an unusual cold snap the last week here. Bring warm stuff either way, esp. if you're staying in SF proper.

Originally wanted to stay for 3 days at Yosemite but accessibility to many areas seemed iffy in winter so it seemed like a bit too much of a gamble. 1 day seemed a reasonable compromise.

I packed up for Pittsburg so plenty of warm clothing!
