experimenting

some background, i primarily work in logic and thats where i've been learning, but i was always into the idea of fl's step sequencer, so i got my hands on the fl mac beta floating around and did these drums in there quickly. i'm blown away at how much easier it is to get rhythm ideas out with fl. so i did the instruments in logic and drums in fl, didn't do any eq, compression, fx or real mixing, more of a quick 30 min experiment that i'm surprised by.

pretty cool for just experimenting. search on youtube sidechain compression for your kick and your sub. If you took some time and put more effort in this track it could be cool.

Yeah that's quite nice actually, the quality is actually really good on my (shitty) monitoring headphones

Think the bass mid could do with a lot more distoration and eqing.

Could be a lot filthier personally.
