Now at the end of 2013, Foundation resident Aphix has sent over one of his recent compositions to give away as a free download. ‘Torn’ quickly found its way onto Rinse FM and other reputable radio stations, alongside receiving support from established artists within the industry, such as Dusk & Blackdown, Wen and Last Japan. The track is a perfect example of Aphix’s signature sound: a reflective and futuristic combination of grime and garage, placing focus on the sinister elements present both genres.
