Transering plugins to new DAW - Cubase 7?

OK, so I'm seriously considering buying Cubase 7.

I know I'll get shot down for this, but I may have been using a cracked version of Cubase 5 previously; I know it's bad :a: and may god strike me down and all that, but I'm now in a position to actually buy the DAW with my hard earned cash!

My question is;

If I buy and install Cubase 7, how do I go about transferring all my plugins over to my new DAW? Can I simply copy and paste my VST folder into the new VST folder for Cubase 7. I have some VST's I've bought over the years, but I also use a lot of freeware VST's and can't really be bothered to download and install them all again.

So can I just copy and past all the VST files, or will I need to install them all individually again?

Cheers

They are probably all installed to your VST folder so your new DAW should pick them up without any reinstalling

Shouldn't have to do anything if you have a vst folder.
Just install new cubase and make it search for your plugins.

Googling for about 12 seconds brought up this.
