ok i lied about that last bump, one more. there has to be a few american producers here that aren't that well known! you don't have to be signed/gigging to be in the group, just a producer from NA that pushes the roots/dark/minimal sound.

read this wrong..but yeah, three times in 5 years of using it. all three of them recently, and all EXCEPTIONALLY dank meals.

i'm also realizing that this is going to mean i get a lot of random friends requests in order to add people which wasn't really my intention lol. whatever though i can always make another personal account down the line or something. a lot of my old posts are stupid pics with descriptions of new weed i was getting (used to hustle a lot of trees) since you are all crawling my shit i'll just get that one out of the way. now i just post about work, school, music and whine about random shit.

not really i didn't add randoms and privated up the profile big time. kept most the business on the disposable pre-paid cell that i changed every few months, but used FB to advertise to close friends. google voice is actually superior for hustling..free texting to a random number attached to a random email you can change with ease and you can receive voicemail (it'll even transcribe the voicemail to text which can be hilarious). so your actual phone doesn't blow up and you can organize/respond to everything like email.

the whole idea here is to have one spot where people can find deep/dark/minimal supporting producers/djs/promoters in the US. there really isn't a definitive list anywhere and outside of the coasts, colorado and maybe boston it's really sparse. i would hope this group could eventually connect people and help people get bookings, share and discuss new material, upcoming releases and events instead of being a spam filled turd like most groups. we'll see how it goes, it's going alright so far i'd say. the biggest battle is going to be getting the recognizable heads to realize it's not just another spam group without well..spamming them lol. and i'm not going to take that route.

another thing to mention is everyone in the group is using their personal profile, so it will (hopefully) be a decent way to find and message heads in the scene without wading through a bunch of fan posts on a persons artist page or using a secondary medium like soundcloud. twitter is good for this but i think a mention in a tweet is a lot easier to overlook than a friends request on FB. some people have hit the 5000 friend max and you'll have to hit them up elsewhere but that's a rare thing to encounter, for this kind of music at least.

also this is not limited to "big named" producers. if you think you would belong in this group you probably do, don't hesitate to hit me up. this is about connecting people not an ego pyramid.

got ahold of joe nice, will be updating the list again after class. about 32 members currently. snowball is rolling

68 members now. i keep promising to update the list but everyone is on their personal accounts so i'd have to find out everyone's artist/DJ name and that will prove to be a task. i'll make it happen soon.

it's US only and nah, out of the business it's not dubstep specific, just no brostep/aggressive crap and no spam. oh and it's 160 members deep now, with good discussion on the daily. lately it's been a lot of gear and production chat.

good group. reminds me of this place in 2007
