whos scoped it? new series starring mathew mcconaughey & woody harrelson as a detective duo investigating an apparent ritualistic murder in a small louisiana town. lots of interesting imagery and everything seems really deliberate.. will compile some theories in a few posts. suffice to say this thread will contain spoilers for those who have not watched the show/latest episode

I posted this in the Recommend a series thread.
3 Episodes in and it is great.
Each episode has just been better than the first.
Great acting and a compelling storyline so far.
The characters have totally engrossed me so far.

Highly recommended.

yep i read yours and ronins posts from the tv series thread, figured it deserved it's own thread..

have to agree with ronins sentiments:

I'm not sure how far you've watched but it develops nicely as each episode progresses.

yeh 3 eps deep now so i'm up to speed- all killer no filler so far. keen to start a bit of discussion on here but might refrain until interest piques to avoid revealing anything too early

i heard it would just be a rerun of the third episode regardless.. each episode really leaves you hanging for more..

hell yeah. the ending scene from the last one was so demented i seriously cannot wait another week for moar. fuck.

I was reading about the temperatures being close to -8.
Coldest Superbowl match or something.
Concerns for the players and such things.

Okay so I really think Hart's daughter are seeing someone from the cult at school, first the dolls, then the sex drawings and if you look at the scene where Hart comes home to Rust having mowed his lawn there's a drawing of the spiral (same as the back of the victim + birds) hanging on the kitchen wall.

Ep.4 will probably be mostly action, there's talk of a gunfight with the crazy gasmask creep at the end of Ep.3

His daughter is certainly a bit disturbed.
Some of those images in her dairy are rather disturbing.
All those shlongs at her age.

Also, nice surprise in episode 3 for me

watched first episode last night and was very very impressed!
