hey guys i started this track a couple days ago after having writers block for months and I'm very happy with how its going, this is the type of dubstep that I'm totally in love with and that I've been trying to create for as long as i can remember so i want to make sure i do it to the best of my abilities
please give me whatever feedback you can
sound design, mixing, arrangement, whatever you have to say about my track good or bad ill take it!

PS: this is my first day on this forum and i can't wait to see what techniques and secrets are hidden here

The melody is decent, but the track sounds a little empty. Add some wide pads, even a wide subbass will go far. You definately need to work on the arrangement with the sidechained supersaw and the wobbles. A good aggressive growl to go under with the supersaw would be a good idea to. Im a big fan of melodic brostep myself, but there is way to many melodic bro artists that just make simple seven lions imitation songs. You should try to develop your own style, theres a hell of a lot more you can do with melodic bro than just hypersaw, wobble, hypersaw, break. Add some machine gun basses, and a clarinet, and some tribal drums and native american chants and shit, Just experiment and see what you can come up with

thanks man! and yea seven lions is a huge insperation to me and i honestly am trying to find my own sound but its pretty hard when theres so much stuff out there but yea thinks for the tips and ill try some pads in this track and ill try the other stuff you suggested in my next project

Yea defiantly something along the lines of that style! And a tutorial would be great! Preferably as detailed as possible so I can break down all the information and reverse engineer and make it into my own as best as possible but of course I understand if you don't wanna give away too many secrets of your sound

Nice work, man. You and me are in the same boat. Melodic producers like Seven Lions and Koven are my main source of inspiration so I totally get it.

Nice work you got the right idea! What I usually do is have multiple VSTs, I have one synth with a lot of detuned saw waves, another with semi detuned saw waves and just a plain saw. Stereo pan the detuned on all the way and leave the other two alone. I make sure the detuned has the highest notes cause it really makes a difference. I also add a saw bass under it I use massive for this or 3xosc in FL. if you want you can check a sample of my work here
