A vocoder with a proper synth section?

Hey DSF,

I was just wondering what it would sound like if you used a reese as a carrier sound in a vocoder; however the standard vocoder plugins in FL don't really support this kind of thing. Couldn't find any vocoder of this sort on google either. Why is that? Or do you know a vocoder with a nice synth section with FM / RM and filters or even sample support?

usually you can run any synth through most of the vocoders
its just a matter of connecting a and b really
its like the synth comes in as the modulator and the voice (carrier) makes it speak
or other way round not sure :3

but yeah usually you can run a reece or anythign even household samples through a vocoder
but i dunno if you might get the best resulst usually you wanna have those clean saws maybe even chorus but yeah might work with a reece

i could see it work maybe as a layer on top of your reece bassline

but yeah i mostly use abletons stock vocoder dunno about others
maybe the IL vocodex ?
