"glitching" and "bass"

sorry for the subject lol
this is a bit embarrasing. but i actually never learnt making these rough bass patches so this is an uncharted territory for me.. how to make that bass sound that u can hear for example in oldschool stuff like el b as well as in some von d tracks and specifically this tune by joker
i mean that kinda lofi, long note (not the squares playing the riff) that kind of glitches and that at first is played lower for a couple of measures and after that a couple of octaves higher.. how to get that sound??
also, i wanna know how u can get those nice glitchy sounds that are also featured in the bassline in the "verse" of that track?
