yo what's the most convenient way of doing the whole pitching down an up turntable stop style effect u hear a lot in for example migos' songs on ableton. i mean i know how to do it to a single audio track but how about the whole arrangement? or is it even possible lol

so yeah i rendered the whole song and opened it in ableton it's sort of working but i dont get it it sounds horrible. like i'm doing it basically by adding a pitch envelope to lower the pitch two octaves it doesn't go down smoothly but rather like suddenly

you need the curve of the pitch going to to be a sort of parabola shape because a turn table wouldn't slow down in a linear fashion. not sure tho man. tbh

appreciate the answer man but trust me that's not it. i've managed to do this on my old laptop and live 8 and a regular descending envelope should do it but for some reason now it goes like now it's 0 and then suddenly -12 instead of smoothly pitching down sounds horrid

Yeah, I've used the SupaTrigga. Not a bad little vst tbh. No fancy GUI, just parameters. It's done the trick for quite a few things with me.
It's all probability percentage based, so you never know what you are going to get. You have to really dial in the settings.

What I do... Bounce the tracks you want the effect on to audio. Change the sample type to "Repitch". Automate.
